Education:
Master’s Degree in Nuclear Power, National Technical University “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (2007 - 2013). Diploma of Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear power engineering, Odessa Polytechnic National University (2019 2023).

Professional experience:
2012-2015: Atomenergoservice Ltd., Sector of Thermal Hydraulic analysis, Leading Engineer. Development of Safety Analysis Reports (SAR) for Ukrainian NPPs, including design and beyond design basis accidents, analysis of the handling operations with fresh and spent nuclear fuel in a spent fuel pool (SFP). Participation in thermal hydraulic analyses in support of reactor vessel and primary equipment pressurized thermal shock (PTS) evaluation. 2015 – present time: State Enterprise “State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety” (SSTC NRS). Head of Emergency Documentation Laboratory, Thermal Hydraulic and Probabilistic Safety Analysis Department. Regulatory review of Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), Severe Accident Management Guidance (SAMG) and their justification (including shutdown modes and spent fuel pool), SARs, safety reassessment reports of Ukrainian NPPs with WWER reactors, review of documentation on safety upgrade measures and documentation related to safety analysis of Centralized spent fuel storage facility.

Main activities:
- over 11 years of practical experience in the area of NPP safety;
- knowledge of Ukrainian safety regulations, IAEA Safety Requirements and Guides related to NPP Design (including SMR), Operation and Safety Assessment, EURATOM and WENRA documents;
- regulatory review of EOPs, documentation related to safety upgrade measures and equipment qualification for accident conditions, analysis of design and beyond design basis accidents, development and expert assessment of post-Fukushima Safety Analysis Reports.
- Thermal-hydraulic modelling of NPP and SFP accident scenarios using Relap5, TRACE, ATHLET ( CD) and MELCOR codes, participation in numerous international projects and seminars on severe accidents, NPP long term operation, innovative nuclear technologies and prospects of their deployment.
- proficiency in design and operation of NPP units (WWER 1000/V-320, V 302, V 338; WWER 440/V 213), basic knowledge of WWER 1200/V 491, AP1000 and AP300 design;
- the lecturer of the Summer Nuclear Schools in 2021, 2022 and 2023, initiated by ANL for students of Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa Polytechnics, with lectures related to EOPs, SAMG and FLEX procedures, BWR design;
- the lecturer of the training “Westinghouse’s Novel Technologies and Innovative Approaches to the Design of Nuclear Reactors” initiated by Westinghouse Electric Company for lecturers and students of Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa Polytechnics with lectures related to Ukrainian post-Fukushima safety upgrades, EOPs, SAMG and FLEX procedures, Westinghouse AP1000 and AP300 design.
